Hello and Welcome

We’re Chris and Keith—professional bowlers whose friendship began in county cricket and has continued to grow through years of shared experience, both on the pitch and off it.

We were lucky enough to play together at Warwickshire, where we won the County Championship side by side. Those moments were unforgettable—but what’s stayed with us even more is the connection we built through the game: the hours of hard work, honest conversation, and the deep respect for what cricket gives, demands, and teaches.

The Bowlers’ Union Podcast began as a space for us to reflect on those experiences and share the conversations that often happen behind closed doors. It’s about the game, yes—but also about the mindset, the identity, and the life that exists around and beyond cricket.

But The Bowlers’ Union is more than just a podcast.

It’s a growing community—a way for us to support the game we’ve given so much to, and that continues to give so much back. Through mentoring, school and academy involvement, and player support initiatives, we’re creating something that lasts. We care deeply about the future of cricket—not just in terms of performance, but in protecting its heart: connection, camaraderie, and care for the people within it.

Our love for the game runs deep. This is our way of honouring that , and helping shape a future for cricket that supports players, builds community, and keeps the spirit of the sport alive for generations to come.
